The Go do it from Day 2 (Creating a new web app) cannot be completed as defined in you document. you are not able to create a new web app from gallery in the old portal anymore. it specifically says:

“Go to the new Azure Portal to quickly create your web app from a large collection of community and Microsoft solutions, like WordPress, Umbraco, and many more.”

and the link is disabled.

Azure have disabled it from management portal. You have to perform it from the New Portal. We will update the document and let you know by the end of the day.
